Rancho California Water District
The Rancho California Water District retained SAE to conduct a half-day group training to ensure all executives, department heads and mid-managers were effectively using their Board presentations to not only communicate to the policy body but also to other key audiences who attended meetings or monitors on cable programming. The session focused on effective presentation skills, key messaging, visual/verbal cues, how to handle questions, and more.
Town of Los Gatos
Working through the Town Manager, SAE conducted a series of training programs for Town staff who regularly present at Planning Commission and Town Council meetings. In addition, we worked closely with each member of the Planning Commission to help improve communications both during meetings and when discussing decisions, the planning process, and individual actions, etc. Increasing public understanding of the flow of public hearings, we also counseled the then-chair of the Commission on meeting management techniques.
